Graham Colton Biography
Graham Patrick Colton, born on November 6, 1981, is lead singer of Graham Colton Band . He attended Southern Methodist University where he began writing and performing songs in and around the Dallas pubs and coffee houses. The Internet became his road to fame, where he posted his compositions. He recorded his songs with his meager budget into a demo album making good reception around the Texas music scene.
Adam Duritz of Counting Crows found the album and asked Graham to support them on their ’02 fall tour which led him to signing record deal with Strummer recordings/ Universal. He will then tour with John Mayer, Counting Crows, Maroon 5, Dave Matthews Band, Guster, Kelly Clarkson and released first hit in 2004: "Don’t Give Up On Me." Their new CD, "Drive," was released on May 24, 2004.

Graham made his national television debut on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday, February 2, 2008
The single, "Best Days" was selected by Fox’s hit show ‘American Idol’ for a featured ending montage of group auditions which lead to additional use as the ‘exit song’ for three additional rounds of auditions leading up to the ‘Top 12’.
Colton was dating singer/songwriter Kelly Clarkson, but later split with her because of time apart.
