New Order Biography

The English rock group New Order was formed in 1980 composed of Bernard Sumner on vocals and guitar, Peter Hook on bass and electronic drums, and Stephen Morris on drums and synthesizers. This lineup was an offshoot of the band Joy Division which dissolved after the suicide of their frontman Ian Singer. It was a tragedy that gave birth to the band, New Order. The Allman Brothers Band is a Southern rock band that hailed from Macon, Georgia. They were credited to be the “the principal architects of Southern rock” by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band was noted for their impressive jamming and improvisational abilities which led them to acquire eleven Gold and five Platinum albums between 1971 and 2005. The B-52’s is a New Wave rock band that formed in 1976 in Athens, Georgia. The original band line-up is composed of Fred Schneider on vocals, Kate Pierson and Cindy Wilson on backing vocals, Ricky Wilson on guitar and Keith Strickland on drums.
