Imogen Heap Trivia
Imogen started writing her songs when she was 11 years old
Her debut album, i Megaphone is actually an anagram of "Imogen Heap"
Imogen was featured in 8 movie soundtracks, most of them are pretty famous: Shrek II, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Imogen’s a capella song, Hide and Seek, was recorded using both her natural voice and a harmonizer – a little box that converts the voice by notes in real time. The lyrics were created while singing, almost live
Imogen, along with her friend Guy Sigsworth (Madonna’s producer), formed a duo called Frou Frou, in December 2001. They had one album, several critically acclaimed singles and hits, but were eventually rejected by their label and split up in late 2003.
Imogen has covered Leonard Cohen’s critically acclaimed song Hallelujah, and Bonnie Tyler’s hit "Holding Out For a Hero."
