Switchfoot Biography
Switchfoot is a Grammy-nominated alternative rock band from San Diego California that was formed in 1996 by brothers Jon and Tim Foreman and Chad Butler. They originally named themselves as Chin Up and released three albums before making their mainstream debut in 2003.
Their mainstream recognition has been mainly attributed after four of their songs were included in the 2002 movie A Walk to Remember. MOst of their songs are characterized by a melodic crunch of electronic experimentation and hard-changing guitar riffs.
Their most popular singles include, "Dare You To Move" and "Meant to Live"
