Biography
Finch is an American alternative rock band hailing from Temecula, California. The band began in 1999 as a cover band for Deftones. The band eventually signed with Drive-Thru Records. Afterwards, the band released a four-song EP, Falling Into Place, which sold 6000 copies after only its first three months.
The band enjoyed its biggest success to date with their first album, What It Is To Burn. That album was released on 2002, with its title track later on released as a single. The single proved to be the band’s most successful song to date. It was this album that was said to bring the post-hardcore genre into the mainstream. Their subsequent follow-up album, "Say Hello To Sunshine", failed to generate the same success.
